The demonstration garden at the Governor's Mansion in Nashville, TN has been awarded "Best Demonstration Garden" in the United States and Canada by the International Master Gardener Association Search for Excellence program.
The kitchen and cutting garden, which opened in September, 2013, has been visited by more than 3,000 visitors and has produced more than 2,700 pounds of produce. Maintained by volunteers from the Davidson County Extension Master Gardener organization, the garden is a showcase for the use of heirloom seeds and organic fertilizers and pest controls.
Congratulations to our fellow Extension Master Gardeners!
