Chattanooga MG Greenhouse
Beginning early last summer I worked on a committee for the Tennessee Master Gardeners to revamp the Search for Excellence program. This is a competition where master gardener organizations from all over the state enter the projects that best exemplify how they put the Master Gardener mission into action. The projects are classified into various types and scored on a variety of criteria. The winners are recognized at Winter School in February. The chair of the SFE committee is Donna Smolinski, a MG from Hamilton County. Yesterday she sent me a video of a newscast that highlighted one of their projects, an excellent project indeed!
