Thursday night I thou...We are down in Olive Branch. Thursday night I thought the yard looked discolored. I thought that with all the clouds and rain lately, it was over-watered... or "under-sunned." At lunch on Friday I learned that my cousin's yard had been infested with army worms. I'd never heard of them. When I got home our yard was GONE. Totally brown. No grass anywhere. A quick walk out into the yard, and indeed, the army worms were EVERYWHERE. Thousands of them.<br /><br />So off I went to Lowe's. :) I bought the last bag of Ortho Bug-B-Gone granules. The insecticide section was packed with other folks, ALL talking about the army worms. Sounds like we're having quite the outbreak this year. <br /><br />I'm hoping that today's rain didn't wash away my insecticide. If so, I'll be out there re-applying it in a few days.
